Responsible Gambling

Craps-AI is an educational tool. We do not facilitate, host, or encourage real-money gambling. But we know many of our users play craps, and we take that seriously.

Know the Warning Signs

Gambling becomes a problem when it stops being entertainment. Watch for these signs:

  • Betting more than you can afford to lose
  • Chasing losses with bigger bets
  • Borrowing money or selling things to gamble
  • Lying to family or friends about how much you gamble
  • Feeling restless or irritable when not gambling
  • Gambling to escape stress, anxiety, or depression
  • Neglecting work, relationships, or responsibilities
  • Repeated unsuccessful attempts to stop or cut back

If any of these apply to you or someone you know, help is available: free and confidential.

Self-Exclusion Programs

Most state gaming commissions maintain voluntary self-exclusion programs that let you ban yourself from licensed gambling venues for a defined period. It is one of the most direct tools available for regaining control.

To find the program for your state, search for your state name followed by "self-exclusion program" or contact your state gaming commission directly. Most online casino operators also offer account-level self-exclusion in their settings.

NCPG can connect you to your state's specific program.

Craps-AI does not hold user accounts and does not operate a self-exclusion list. Any exclusion must be arranged directly with the operator or state commission.

Set Limits Before You Play

If you choose to gamble, decide your loss limit before you start, and walk away when you hit it. The math doesn't change based on how your session is going. The house edge is constant. A session plan isn't a guarantee, but it's better than no plan at all.

Alcohol and judgment

Alcohol reduces inhibition and raises risk tolerance. Bets you would never place sober start to feel reasonable after two drinks, and the math does not care how confident you feel.

Specific impairments to expect:

  • Pattern recognition slips, so streaks feel more real than they are
  • Loss aversion inverts, so chasing losses feels rational
  • Time perception blurs, so you stop tracking your bankroll
  • House edge drops out of the foreground of your thinking

Happy Hour at the Arena is a live demonstration of this effect, not an endorsement. Every night from 17:00 to 19:00 PT, all 35 bots scale up bet sizes and inject Field bets they would not otherwise place. Watch the lifetime drunk vs. sober P&L split on the leaderboard over a few weeks. The delta is not subtle.

Practical guardrails if you drink while you play:

  • Set a hard loss limit before the first drink, not during
  • Ask someone at the table to pull you at a bankroll threshold
  • Never combine drinking with a strategy you are still learning
  • Casinos do not comp drinks out of kindness

If any of this pattern feels familiar, the helpline above is free and confidential, 24/7.

Craps-AI does not facilitate real-money gambling.

Everything on this site is a simulation. No money is wagered, won, or lost here. We exist to teach probability, not to encourage gambling. If you play, play responsibly.
